Maxilead Metals Ltd, one of the leading metal re- cycling companies In the Northwest, recently unveiled their brand new £3.5 Million state of the art facilities and industry leading equipment.
The Manchester based, family owned company, has expanded its fully licensed recycling centre from 2 acres to 7. As a result, the company has more than doubled its number of employees and capabilities to recycle both ferrous and non ferrous metals.
Due to greater customer demand and ‘Maxileads’ constant business development program, the companies investment has involved the purchase of adjoining land to the well established “Tyldesley” based site.
Chairman Peter Clay stated that, “In response to needs of the industry and our customers we felt it was time to expand.” He continued that, “this in our biggest investment to date and finally after 12 months the project is complete.
Maxilead Metals new facilities now boasts, Over 90,000 sq ft of Internal Warehouse Space, 2 x 50 tonne Weighbridges, Secure Metal Storage,
Segregation Bays, Sorting Facilities, and Loading Bays for Container Export.
The added space and equipment to the Maxilead site will not only increase their capacity and metal recycling capabilities, but also allow for a faster more efficient service.
